Οn 19/2/2021, the European Ageing Network (https://www.ean.care/en), associated partner of Eldicare, and the European Association of Institutes for Vocational Training (https://evbb.eu/), part of the Eldicare consortium, participated in a meeting with the European network "EuroCarers" (https://eurocarers.org/), a major actor for the informal carers in Europe.
Eldicare partnership launched on 1st December 2020 two training programmes:
“Training for A-typical Caregivers” &
“ICT focused training for the elderly care sectoral providers”
aiming to tackle the skills gap in the elderly care sector as a response to current market needs for well-trained professional elderly care providers.
Τhe 15th of June has been established as the “World Elder Abuse Awareness Day” by the United Nations.

The partners of the Erasmus+ project: “Eldicare: Matching skills in a growing European Silver Economy” held their 4th SC meeting yesterday, Wednesday, 27/05/2020. The meeting was arranged virtually, via Zoom Platform, as the current Covid-19 situation did not allow the scheduled meeting in Bayreuth, Germany to take place.
On January 3 2020, Antonio Matas-Terrón, professor at the University of Malaga, was hosted by the Radio Campus UMA (University of Malaga).
