AKMI S.A. as the lead partner of the Erasmus+ project EldiCare, organized the Kick Off Meeting in Athens

AKMI S.A. as lead partner organized and coordinated the Kick Off meeting of the Erasmus+ Sectoral Alliances project: EldiCare, on 15-16 November 2018.

During the meeting AKMI team had the opportunity to present to the partners the project, the timetable and the basic rules for project implementation and financing.

The project “EldiCare: Matching skills in a growing European Silver Economy” aims to eliminate the skills gap in the elderly care sector by addressing the need for well-trained professional staff. At the same time, it aims to improve vocational education and training at European level by combining traditional methods in the care of the elderly with a more technologically oriented approach.

The project consists of 12 distinguished partners from Greece, the United Kingdom, Spain, Belgium and Germany. The Project Partners are: Asisttel, University of Malaga, Skybridge Partners, IHF, University of Staffordshire, ACB Concern, EAHSA, AMC Metropolitan College, KMOP, BQS & ACQUIN.
